It’s 1973 and Lou Reed is rising from the underground, like the vapour emerging from the subway on Loaded’s cover. The double-punch of last year’s November arrivals, ’Walk On The Wild Side’ and Transformer, have elevated Reed finally from the doldrums of cult star status.
